My mom's is doing this course in communication,
aside her normal job,
to become a coach for actors.
Like in teaching them :
'if you say it like this, it has more impact!'
Quite cool actually!
Its like the ultimate reversed psychology!

So last night we were having dinner
and she told us about what she had learned this time.
Basically she said,
that if you just keep a positive aditude,
no matter what, you will get what you aim for.
I understood, agreed, and kept eating.
But then, she told us that her teacher had taught them a sayin:

"Fake it, till you make it."

NO
I do NOT agree!
In my opinion faking something is like lieing,
which can only backfire on you later.

So I was like:

me: "thats not very positive.."
mum: *all offended* "what do you mean? ofcourse it is!"

She even gave an example!:

mum: Like if you're in a job-interview. If you only tell them about how you havent quite figured PhotoShop out yet, they wont hire you.
While if you stay positive and tell them 'I'll be fine!' they probably will!

...
THAT IS SO MISSING THE POINT!

me: But that way you'll get tasks you cant even perform, because they will, unknowingly, overestimate you!
mum: *grunt grunt, defensive speech*

So my mum kept explaining me what I already understood, while I was thinking.
I knew what she meant, but there had to be some other way of phrasing it!
Then it hit me!

me: But that way, you'd better say: Believe, till you achieve!

YES! I PHRASED IT! and it even rymed! what more could you want?!

mum:....Oh my gosh THATS BRILLIANT!
me: *glowing with pride*
mum: you're right, I get what you're saying!

So the next time she went to the course, she introduced my 'improved sayin' to the group and she told me everybody was like:

everybody:...Oh my gosh THATS BRILLIANT!
(including the teacher!)

And she told me that the teacher had desides that next weeks course-day
Would revolve around my brilliant sayin!
*HappyDance*

Those are just wittle moments that make me happy.
